Sedgefield’s meeting tomorrow has been abandoned due to snow.

After the local officials had inspected the course, the Durham track’s general manager Jim Allen said: “We’ve abandoned.

“We are under four inches of snow everywhere – so it wasn’t a difficult decision – and more snow is forecast.”
