Nemo Rangers star Joe Kavanagh has revealed it's the heartbreak of successive All-Ireland final defeats that keeps the Cork kingpins motivated for success like no other team.

Nemo Rangers star Joe Kavanagh has revealed it's the heartbreak of successive All-Ireland final defeats that keeps the Cork kingpins motivated for success like no other team.

Nemo are back in the Munster SFC on Sunday despite the pain of successive All-Ireland final defeats in 2001 and 2002.

Club and county star Kavanagh said: "I'm sure the opportunity to try and put that right is what keeps many of the older boys turning out week after week for the club.

"We left games behind us both years when we didn't perform at certain stages. In our hearts we know that both years we could have come away with wins."
