Two Irish films have been selected to premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Two Irish films have been selected to premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

'Fear of Flying', written and directed by Conor Finnegan, and The Girl with the Mechanical Maiden, written and directed by Andrew Legge, received funding from the Irish Film Board.

The two short films were selected from more than 2,870 submissions and will screen amongst films from 19 countries next month.
