Hayden Christensen says he's not looking forward to seeing himself on merchandise for the new Star Wars film.

Hayden Christensen says he's not looking forward to seeing himself on merchandise for the new Star Wars film.

He plays Anakin Skywalker in Attack Of The Clones which is released in the UK on May 16.

Christensen says he's not sure about his image being used on drinks cans.

"I like Pepsi and I just don't think I could drink one that has my face on it," he said.

Christensen adds he had trouble with his trousers whenever he tried some of the jumps required for the new film.

"My pants split numerous times, right up to my crotch," he tells www.ew.com

He says his costumes weren't the only problem with his appearance.

"I would get to work a couple of hours early to get make-up done. I had to get a tan applied. I'm supposed to be from a desert planet and I'm actually from Canada."
