Jean Alesi drove the Benson and Hedges Jordan Honda EJ11 for the first time yesterday in warm and dry conditions at England's Silverstone circuit.

Familiarising himself with the car in preparation for the Hungarian Grand Prix, Alesi worked with the team to make sure that the car set-up and driving position are comfortable for him, making any necessary adjustments to find the best balance.

The test was limited to 50 kilometres due to FIA testing regulations, so the Frenchman only completed six outings (including installation laps) totaling 47.5km, or 18 laps of the national circuit at Silverstone.

He was pleased with the work completed and is now looking forward to the rapidly approaching Hungarian Grand Prix.
