A suicide bomber blew himself up today in a crowded hotel lobby in the Israeli coastal resort of Netanya, police said.

A suicide bomber blew himself up today in a crowded hotel lobby in the Israeli coastal resort of Netanya, police said.

Paramedics said there were dozens of casualties, and witnesses said they saw at least three bodies.

The attack at the Park Hotel on the Mediterranean coast came at the start of the Jewish Passover holiday.

At the time, guests were crowding the lobby, waiting to enter the dining hall for the Passover Seder, the ritual meal that ushers in the religious holiday.
