Bon Jovi fears bad hair days

Rock star Jon Bon Jovi has told how he massages his scalp in a bid to stop his hair from falling out.

Rock star Jon Bon Jovi has told how he massages his scalp in a bid to stop his hair from falling out.

The Bon Jovi frontman said he was petrified of losing his hair after reaching his 40th birthday this year.

In an interview with the Sunday Mirror’s Celeb Magazine the singer and actor said he has had plenty of stalkers.

But Bon Jovi, real name John Bongiovi, claims his greatest fear is seeing his hair disappear.

‘‘I look at guys like Sting and think, well he’s cool about it, but I’m already losing it a bit and I’m so aware of it.

‘‘Someone told me that you have to regularly massage your scalp so I do that all the time.

‘‘You look a jerk but it’s got to be worth a shot, right?’’

Bon Jovi added that he looks back to the heady days of the ’80s with sheer horror - as his long permed hair was so appalling.
