Track inspection delays Ayr meeting

Ayr have delayed their opening race due to an impromptu inspection of the track.

Ayr have delayed their opening race due to an impromptu inspection of the track.

A number of jockeys complained about an area of soft ground turning into the straight, around three furlongs down the track.

Officials and riders have inspected the area and are deliberating over the best course of action.
