Carey dismisses marriage turmoil rumours
Mariah Carey has debunked rumours that her whirlwind marriage to Nick Cannon is on the rocks.
The singer tied the knot with the comic actor on April 30.
“It’s good. Life is beautiful, and things are going well,” she told MTV.
Carey said she could not understand why people thought the marriage was a sham.
“I’m like: ’Why would we have gotten married to do that?”’ she said.
“People are going to say what they say, but what would be the purpose? I guess other people do those things for a purpose, but I don’t know. I’m ecstatic, so be ecstatic with me!”
