30 killed in Uganda bus crash

A bus crash in southwestern Uganda today killed at least 30 people and injured 21, Ugandan and Rwandan state radios reported.

A bus crash in southwestern Uganda today killed at least 30 people and injured 21, Ugandan and Rwandan state radios reported.

A regional bus en route from the Rwandan capital, Kigali, and passing through Uganda on the way to Nairobi, Kenya, hit a truck head-on just north of the Rwandan border, the radio stations reported.

A Rwandan reporter who reached the scene said the bus appeared to have swerved into oncoming traffic.
