An Australian woman put her kids up for sale on eBay.

The mother-of-two, who is in her 30s, received bids for her son and daughter - who are both under 10 years old - after she posted a "lengthy sales pitch" about the pair.

She later claimed the stunt was simply a joke, but the woman has since been question by Social Services in Geelong, Australia.

Police are attempting to find the bidders from the auction website, which allows people to buy and sell their possessions to other members of the pubic.
