SPOILER ALERT: 'Coronation Street' set for dramatic heartbreak scenes

'Coronation Street' character Tracy Barlow attacks Tina McIntyre after discovering her illicit kiss with Rob Donovan.

Michelle Keegan's character will walk into drama when she returns from London next week as Tracy (Kate Connerty) learns she kissed her boyfriend - played by Marc Baylis - before she left.

Tracy discovers the news about her seemingly perfect beau from Weatherfield gossip Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden), who overhears Tina brag abut the kiss to Rob's sister Carla Barlow (Alison King).

Kate told Inside Soap magazine: "She's utterly heartbroken. Every relationship she's ever had has been a disaster.

"She doesn't want to consider that this man, who she thinks is better than all the rest of them, could have betrayed her."

All hell breaks loose inside the Rovers Return as Tracy tricks Tina into admitting the truth - after being lied to by Rob - and she dumps her boyfriend.

But viewers will be left to wonder if the break-up will last.

Kate added: "Tracy really means it. But Deidre (Anne Kirkbride) asks her if she's being too hasty.

"Rob is a good guy and he hasn't slept with Tina. Even Tina herself says that Tracy is making a mistake if she lets him go. I think people can see that Rob really does like her."

The dramatic scenes will air next Monday on TV3.
