An uneasy calm returned to the Big Brother house today after the latest eviction in the wake of a mass brawl.
However, the show is set to liven up again tonight when host Davina McCall interviews Emma, removed permanently from the house last night in an effort by the show’s producers to avoid a repeat of the bust-up.
The feisty party girl, who was at the centre of the melee, is expected to take the opportunity to speak out against her enemies in the house and about her treatment by the show’s bosses.
Life among the remaining housemates has been business as usual today, with little mention of the incident on Wednesday night which ended only when security guards entered the house and physically broke up the fight.
Today, conversation returned to the two staples of Big Brother life – sex, or lack of it, and winning the show.
Aspiring model Michelle sulked when Stuart, whose mattress has been removed by Big Brother, responded coolly to her offer of a shared bed.
“They’ve put you in a position where you haven’t got a choice,” Michelle said.
Stuart refused to commit to the idea but Michelle urged the object of her affections to think about it.
“Yeah,” he said unenthusiastically, before suggesting that it would be wiser if she shared with Nadia.
“I feel all rejected now,” she retorted glumly.
Elsewhere in the house, Jason reminded Victor that they were in the house to win, with the increasingly surly bodybuilder having admitted to his own game plan just days before.
“It’s all f***ing game plans, mate,” the Scot said.
As the dust began to settle on the dramatic events of the week the peacemakers among the group emerged as favourites to win the show.
Daniel, Michelle, and Stuart were favourites at 3-1 while Ahmed remained the outsider at 50-1.
Viewers will finally have the chance this week to vote off either Vanessa or Dan.
Emma will be interviewed by Davina on Channel 4’s Big Brother show at 9pm.
