This lad played the meanest Pokemon GO prank on his mother

When his mam texted him, wanting to get in on the Pokémon Go craze, Nathan Wall from Lancashire saw a golden opportunity to mess with her.

All Sharon wanted to know was how to download the app, and Nathan obliged - with some highly misleading information.

He told her that to get the app, you had to go to a shop and tell the person at the till ‘I want to be the very best’.

"Sounds silly I know," Nathan told her. "but it’s some marketing thing to entice other customers in the queue to get it."

She wasn't convinced, texting back ‘I’m calling bullshit’. But Nathan doubled down and told her that he wouldn't lie to her.

You see where this is going.

The next day, Sharon and Nathan headed to the local Tesco and her bold son caught the moment she nervously told the cashier "‘I want to be the very best'".

Poor Sharon!

But she seems to have taken it well and is now hopefully planning her revenge.

"The people in the shop realised what happened and found it hilarious,’ Nathan told LadBible.

‘I wouldn’t say I got in trouble but I felt guilty for about 30 seconds. She took it in good spirits and is convinced she’s going to get me back."
