A roadside bomb explosion struck a passing minibus north of Baghdad today, killing six people and wounding another three, the Joint Co-ordination Centre for the province said.
The blast happened north of the town of Muqdadiyah, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, said an official in the joint co-ordination centre of Diyala province - which remains one of Iraq’s most violent areas.
In separate attack, another roadside bomb exploded in Baqouba, the capital of Diyala province 35 miles north-east of Baghdad, wounding three civilians, police said.
