Pádraig Harrington has missed out on qualifying for the US Open after a bogey at the final hole of Walton Heath’s Old Course.

BoyleSports are refunding over €7,000 worth of ante-post bets placed on the Dublin golfer after declaring him a Non-Runner.

Rory McIlrory will make a bid for his second US Open win, having won in 2011 at the Congressional Country Club, but Jordan Speith is also aiming for his first US Open .

Aoife Heffron, PR Executive at BoyleSports, commented “After Pádraig Harrington narrowly missed out on qualification for the US Open next month BoyleSports decided to refund all bets as a show of good faith.”
