Michael Madsen fears violence on screen is spiralling out of control - and insists filmmakers are desperate to outdo each other with increasingly graphic scenes.
The 46-year-old actor may have appeared in his fair share of gory movies, including Quentin Tarantino's notorious Kill Bill movies, but he is concerned the trend is going too far.
He complains: "Everybody's trying to outdo each other, you know. They're like: 'I'm going to make it more scary than that one.'
"Some films have a saw and they're chained up and have to cut people's arms off to escape - where is it going to end? I guess it's entertainment. I don't know."
