Explosion heard in central Baghdad
A loud explosion was heard in central Baghdad today.
Thick black smoke was seen rising from the direction of the heavily fortified Green Zone, home to government offices, foreign embassies and the US military.
It was not immediately clear what caused the blast.
The US military had no immediate information.
