Doncaster are optimistic of racing taking place tomorrow despite calling a precautionary inspection for 7.30am due to the threat of frost.
Officials at the South Yorkshire have protected the track by covering the entire course with fleece.
"We have called a precautionary purely because we are forecast minus 2C tonight then it should get up to 3C tomorrow," said acting clerk of the course Gemma Charrington.
"We've not covered all the course before so we don't know exactly how it's going to go.
"It should be fine, but we thought it best to call a precautionary in the morning."
Racing is also scheduled for Saturday when the Sky Bet Chase is the feature.
"The plan after racing tomorrow will be to get as much of it (covers) down as possible," Charrington went on.
"We will be stuck with times for daylight etc, but the aim will be to cover the whole track again.
"It's a similar forecast for Friday night, minus 2C, but apparently there is some sunshine around on Saturday, so as long as the temperature can get up in the morning we should be all right. We just need to get through Friday first."
