Ireland’s under-21 manager Don Givens has named six uncapped players in his 18-man squad to face Cyprus next month.

Ireland’s under-21 manager Don Givens has named six uncapped players in his 18-man squad to face Cyprus next month.

They are Bohemians’ Brian Shelley, Arsenal’s Graham Stack, Celtic’s Michael Doyle, Blackburn’s Ben Burgess, Preston’s Michael Keane and Barnsley’s Brian O’Callaghan.

Jim Goodwin, Liam Miller, Brendan McGill and John Thomspon have also been recalled to the side.
