Will and Gareth jet off to film pop videos
Pop Idol finalists Will Young and Gareth Gates are both abroad filming videos for their debut singles.
They are also using the time to relax after the trials and tribulations of ITV's Pop Idol competition.
Both contestants have been given record deals with 19 management.
A spokeswoman for 19 said: "Will and Gareth are both abroad in secret locations filming videos for their debut singles.
"It's also giving them time to chill out after the Pop Idol competition.
"I can't tell you how long they're going to be there, we're just hoping the press don't find them."
Will Young is due to release his debut single on February 25.
It will be a double A-side featuring Westlife's Evergreen with Anything Is Possible, written by Cathy Dennis.
The details of Gareth's debut are unknown at present.
