Oxfam is calling on all music lovers to organise and attend events to raise money for the charity in October.
Dubbed "an inspiring and unique DIY music festival with a difference", Oxjam will include events all over the country in a nationwide fundraising drive.
"Oxfam Ireland is looking for bands, DJs, promoters, street buskers, choirs, music teachers and just plain old music fans to organise all kinds of music events during October and donate the proceeds to Oxfam," a spokesman said today.
