Cork DJ's dashcam catches driver weaving dangerously on the road

Philip Bourke, from Cork's RedFM radio station, was driving home from Limerick on Sunday night when he came across a car which had no rear lights working.

The DJ filmed the car on his dashcam for around three minutes as it swerved dangerously on the road and then described what happened afterwards.

He followed the car along the N20 and saw the car stop "when the driver fell out of the car" and walked "all over the road".

That was when Bourke decided to call the gardaí, before he watched the driver get back into his car "and drive on clipping ditches and on wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic".

The driver eventually ended up with the car in his driveway with his hazard lights still on after "putting his rear wheels up on the traffic island kerbing".

In his Facebook post accompanying the footage below of the hazardous driving, Bourke said that the gardaí could do nothing as the man, who the DJ believes was in his late 50s, was inside his house when they arrived.

You can see the clip below, which is mainly of the car driving in darkness until two minutes 40 seconds in, where the car can be seen veering dangerously across the road.
