Leinster championship-winning boss Páidí Ó Sé is planning a debate on the experimental football rules when the Westmeath and Kerry footballers meet up in his pub in Ventry tonight.

The new football rules include players being allowed to lift the ball off the ground or scoop it to a team-mate, playing it on the ground when running or standing, goalkeepers using plastic tees for kick-outs and players who are given yellow cards will be sin-binned for 10 minutes.

Ó Sé said: "It will be interesting to hear what the likes of Dara Ó Cinnéide and Dessie Dolan think of the proposals and which of them should be adopted as new rules."
