The Opposition’s hit out at the Government after new Revenue figures show dozens of millionaires escaped paying tax last year while hundreds more paid very little.

The Labour Party has accused the Fianna Fáil and PD Coalition of effectively creating separate tax laws for the wealthy.

The party’s Finance Spokesperson, Deputy Joan Burton TD, claims current tax incentives are allowing high earners to dodge tax as education and health services are being starved of money.
