Sligo name their team for Saturday's All-Ireland SFC qualifier clash with Cork after training tonight and could include recently retired forward Paul Taylor.
The 30-year-old quit inter-county football last November due to work commitments but with the Yeats men struggling with injuries, Taylor, a vital cog in the Eastern Harps' 10 league victories this season, has rejoined the panel under boss Dominic Corrigan.
Sligo are already without inspirational midfielder Eamonn O'Hara for the Portlaoise tie. The 2002 All-Star sustained a serious knee injury against Kildare last month, which has since been confirmed as cruciate ligament damage.
It's a desperate blow for O'Hara, who picked up a broken wrist and groin injury in the early season and is now certain to undergo surgery.
Corrigan is waiting on injury updates on goalkeeper Philip Greene (ankle) and forwards Dara McGarty (back) and Karol O'Neill (ankle), although Kenneth Sweeney, who missed the five-point defeat of Clare, has recovered from a hamstring strain.
Corrigan reckons the westerners are yet to produce their best form in this year's championship, following qualifier wins over Longford, Kildare and the Banner men.
"I genuinely believe we haven't produced anything like our best form so far this year. We can play a lot better than we showed in our previous three games in the qualifiers," admitted the former Fermanagh manager.
A certain inclusion in the Sligo engine room is Sean Davey. The talented midfield showed his form last Sunday, hitting 1-9 of Curry's 1-12 tally in their county championship group win over St Mary's.
