Ulster openside Neil McMillan is getting the better of the neck and shoulder injury that necessitated his first-half retirement from Friday night’s win over Connacht.

"Things are looking a little better for Neil. We are now hopeful he will be ready for Saturday. It was a type of compression injury. But, it is improving everyday," said coach Mark McCall.

Thankfully, fears of a serious injury were allayed for McMillan, who missed the entire length of last season with a knee reconstruction.
