Gomez annoys neighbour with loud party

Selena Gomez was "very cooperative" with police after they received a noise complaint from her neighbours.

The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker angered nearby residents on Tuesday night after a party she was hosting at her home in Hidden Hills, California, became too loud, but law enforcement officers insist the singer happily turned down her music when she was asked.

However, an insider claims the 21-year-old beauty had only invited around 20 people to her bash and the reason it was so loud was because she had live performances taking place in her living room.

The source told E! News: "The music may have gotten a little too loud because it was two guys performing and there were speakers, but it definitely wasn't some out of control party."

The 'Spring Breakers' actress certainly didn't let her visit from the police ruin her evening though as she took to her Instagram account yesterday morning to share a picture of the party.

She posted the snap, which shows several people playing musical instruments, along with the caption: "Tacos, live music and candles...such a beautiful night with beautiful people."

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Selena rekindled her romance with on/off boyfriend Justin Bieber after they split up in April amid rumours she was jealous of his friendship with reality TV star Kylie Jenner, 16.
