Ger O'Brien scored a stunning goal to help Bohemians on their way to an eighth win in 11 games as Pat Fenlon's side maintained their push to qualify for Europe.

Killian Brennan raced clear onto keeper Craig Sexton's clearance to shoot dominant Bohs ahead four minutes into the second half.

Five minutes later, right-back O'Brien hit his solo effort, running from halfway before rifling a shot to the net from 20 yards in off the underside of the crossbar.

Johnny Breen punished poor defender to get a goal back for Dundalk on 61mins.

Substitute Christy Fagan then sealed the win for Bohs with their third goal right on 90mins.
