Dundalk have sights set firmly on Champions League history
Dundalk are targeting a slice of history tonight.
The League of Ireland champions are just one step away from a place in the Champions League group stages as they prepare to play host to Legia Warsaw in the first-leg of their play-off qualifier.
The Lilywhites have home advantage for the first-leg tie, which is being held at the Aviva Stadium.
Manager Stephen Kenny says they're not getting wrapped-up in what Legia Warsaw's approach to tonight's play-off qualifier will be.
Kenny says their preparations are about them and not their opponents ahead of the first-leg tie.
“The players will enjoy themselves and go and express themselves in the way they can,” he told RTÉ.
“Legia Warsaw are a formidable team, there’s no doubt about it. But we’ve shown in the previous rounds that we can compete well, and we’re capable of putting in a really strong performance. So hopefully we can do that.”

More than 30,000 tickets for the match have been sold already with more supporters expected to turn up on the night.
In addition to Dundalk fans, organisers expect supporters of other League of Ireland clubs to turn out to back the Lilywhites.
