Pierce Brosnan has been getting the rumour mills churning after being spotted out and about looking remarkably like Gerry Adams.
The transformation is reportedly thanks to a new film role in a thriller based on the novel The Chinaman by Stephen Leather.
The 62-year-old actor is playing e-IRA member, turned government official Liam Hennessy in the film.
The former 007 will find himself back in capable hands for the role as the movie is being directed by his Goldeneye director Martin Campbell.
Shooting in London Brosnan was seen out and about in a grey suit with a purple tie and a black overcoat.
The look has generated quite a bit of chat on the twittermachine.

If no comedian has made joke yet about Pierce Brosnan playing a British Secret Agent whilst looking like Gerry Adams then they're useless...
