'X Factor' judge Louis Walsh has apologised after his two-fingered gesture at the audience for booing the Jedward twins.
Some members of the audience booed the twins during their final sing-off on Sunday night when they were voted in the bottom two and risked being sent home.
The siblings, who have polarised opinions with their performances, saw off Welsh teenager Lucie Jones.
Judge Simon Cowell refused to make a call between the two acts and put it to the public vote to see who should stay.
Jones had gained the least support and was kicked off the show.
