A wealthy admirer of murdered Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn has agreed to buy his house, his Daimler limousine, his dogs and even his butler.
Chris Thunnesen, a businessman from The Hague, has agreed to pay about €1m and plans to turn the house into a museum.
Butler Herman Dikkers says he has no objection to being part of the package, so long as he is not sold on without his permission.
"I've nothing against being sold," Mr Dikkers told De Telegraaf. "I'm part of the furniture. But I don't expect them to sell me like they would sell a pile of bricks."
Mr Dikkers expects to continue to take care of the house, the two dogs, Kenneth and Clara and Fortuyn's Daimler.
The house will be preserved just as it was on the day Fortuyn, an openly gay right-wing politician, was shot dead last May, only days before Dutch national elections.
