UK miniatures rescued by drinks millionaire
Drinks millionaire John Halewood rescued the UK’s biggest bottler of miniature wines and spirits.
Administrators were called to H&A Wines & Spirits after the Chorley-based firm was struck by cashflow problems following an expansion.
Mr Halewood’s acquisition vehicle, H&A Prestige Packaging, has acquired the firm’s contract bottling, drinks gifts packs and speciality drinks division - including the fortified wine “Aussie Whites” for Yates.
