Overnight rain has seen the ground at Ascot ease ahead of tomorrow’s Blue Square Shergar Cup meeting.

The going at the Berkshire track is now good to soft, good in places, although clerk of the course Nick Cheyne is expecting a dry night.

“We had an inch of rain early yesterday evening but it is due to be dry and warm today,” he said.
