A United Nations report claims Israeli troops could be prosecuted for what it called "wilful killing" and "torture" in connection with a raid on ships bound for Gaza.

A United Nations report claims Israeli troops could be prosecuted for what it called "wilful killing" and "torture" in connection with a raid on ships bound for Gaza.

The report claimed there was clear evidence that Commandos used "totally unnecessary and incredible violence" when they stormed the vessels in May, killing nine people.

Israel says the soldiers acted in self-defence.
