A sixth Live 8 concert has been announced to coincide with the G8 summit in Scotland on 6 July.
The fundraising extravaganza, which will be headlined by Dido, Annie Lennox, Travis and Texas, will take place at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium - and the performers will take to the stage while world political leaders discuss Africa's debt crisis a few miles away at the Gleneagles resort.
Bob Geldof has already announced live shows in London, Paris, Rome, Berlin and Philadelphia.
Co-organiser Midge Ure insists the concert will not cause problems for the Scottish capital's residents with an influx of music fans and protesters.
He says: "I wouldn't bring my family to something I thought could be a dreadful situation."
