UK: Woman remanded on daughters murder charges

A woman appeared in court in the UK today accused of murdering her two teenage daughters.

A woman appeared in court in the UK today accused of murdering her two teenage daughters.

Rekha Kumari-Baker (aged 40), of Stretham, Cambridgeshire, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court accused of killing Davina Baker (aged 16), and Jasmine Baker (aged 13).

Lawyers discussed legal issues and the case was adjourned until January 2.

Davina and Jasmine were found stabbed to death at their mother’s home on June 13.

Kumari-Baker has not entered any plea to the charges. She was remanded in custody.
