Shaun Of The Dead stars Simon Pegg as Shaun, a young man with more than his fair share of problems.
He hates his job, he’s afraid of his step-father, and his girlfriend Liz (Kate Ashfield) has had enough of spending night after night at the local boozer, and she is also fed up of his best friend Ed (Nick Frost), a dope-dealing loser.
Shaun decides to sort out his life but his attempts to turn over a new leaf are cut short by hordes of zombies who start to spring up around the place for no apparent reason.
Shaun gathers up his friends and family and heads for the Winchester pub to sort out his life and fend off a few thousand of the undead who are determined to have him join their ranks.
Despite its stranger than strange plot, Shaun Of The Dead is a lot of fun, thanks mainly to a talented cast that’s a veritable who’s who of British comedy.
Never have exploding heads and people being torn limb from limb been funnier.
