The number of passengers carried by Aer Lingus in February was down 8.4% year-on-year, it was announced today.
This was broken down as to 8% in short haul and a higher 11.7% in long haul.
Capacity in the period as measured by ASKs (available seat kilometres) was down 14.4%, with 9.2% in short haul and 20.7% in long haul.
Loads were up 5.3% for the airline, however, with an increase of 5.4% to 77.5% in short haul and a jump of 4.2% to 64.3% long haul.
