CRH, Jurys and Concern win published accounts award

CRH plc, Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc and Concern have been cited for the excellence of their annual reports and financial accounts in this year's Published Accounts Awards, announced today.

CRH plc, Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc and Concern have been cited for the excellence of their annual reports and financial accounts in this year's Published Accounts Awards, announced today.

CRH plc again won the Large Quoted Companies' Award, while Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc took the Award for Small Quoted Companies. Concern took the laurels in the Charities and Not for Profit Organisations' section.

The Awards are organised by the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants and sponsored by the Irish Stock Exchange. The full list of award winners is as follows:

* Large Quoted Companies: CRH plc

* Small Quoted Companies: Jurys Doyle Hotel Group plc

* Statutory and Unquoted Large Entities: ESB

* Charities and Not for Profit Organisations: Concern

* Design Award: Paddy Power plc

* Corporate and Social Responsibility Reporting: Bord na Mona

* Technology Award: Irish Life & Permanent plc

Chairman of the Leinster Society of Chartered Accountants Lorcan Colclough said: "Now in their 28th year, the Published Accounts Awards continue to set the benchmark for measuring standards of financial reporting contained in the annual reports of Irish companies."
