Rising Kildare star Robbie Hannon wants to say goodbye to the Premiership and hello to a place on the Lilywhites' championship team this summer.

The former Portsmouth player, 23, and star of TG4's The Underdogs came on as a late sub for Kildare in his first senior runout against Westmeath in the O'Byrne Cup and is eyeing long-term success.

Hannon said: "I just hope now that I get some more games with Kildare and really get to prove myself. I'm delighted to be involved."
