Series finale of Fair City to air Sunday after coronavirus cut short filming

Fair City continues to be impacted by the coronavirus.

In mid-March, RTÉ reduced the number of episodes being broadcast weekly from four to two.

The broadcaster says this was so fans could enjoy the show until mid-April.

And now that filming has stopped, the final episode of this series will air on Sunday.

Filming in Carrigstown has been suspended in line with HSE Covid-19 guidelines.
