Derry defeated Longford in today’s All Ireland qualifying series with a powerful display at Pearse Park.
The Ulster side overcame their recent poor form which saw them endure a disappointing League campaign and a defeat to Monaghan in the Ulster Championship.
Despite Longford leading by three at the break, Derry pulled back and held Longford to a single point in the second-half, while scoring 1-11.
