The Irish Farmers Association is planning to target a bacon plant in Kilkenny this morning as part of a protest against imported pig meat.
The association is accusing processors of using substantial quantities of imported meat while trading under Irish labels.
The IFA says the failure to properly identify the products is misleading customers and damaging Irish production.
It also says its members' livelihoods are being harmed by the practise.
