Soccer: FAI extend season by one month

The FAI board of management has decided to extend the playing season for all leagues by one month to June 30.

The FAI board of management has decided to extend the playing season for all leagues by one month to June 30.

The FAI said it hoped the measure would allow affiliates to complete their various competitions which have been seriously disrupted by the foot-and-mouth crisis.
