Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications has signed a global partnership deal with Hallmark, the greeting card manufacturer.
The deal has been made in order to develop multimedia messaging content for its mobile phones, and with THQ Wireless, the wireless gaming subsidiary of THQ Inc to develop gaming and entertainment options.
The company said the partnership with Hallmark seeks to expand the multimedia messaging market and will provide Sony Ericsson with "quality branded content" to for use on its handsets.
The THQ deal will involve THQ providing both embedded content as well as downloadable stand-alone and interactive content for forthcoming Sony Ericsson phones based on mobile-Java and future platforms.
