More men are buying goods online, while women still prefer to window shop, browse or enjoy a spot of retail therapy, according to an Internet shopping expert.
Sales of goods over the Internet this year are expected to be worth up to 50% more than last year, with retailers including supermarkets and High Street clothes chains jumping on the bandwagon, offering more product ranges online.
But women are still more likely to go out shopping rather than buy online, although just as many women will order groceries on the Internet to avoid visiting supermarkets.
