Airtricity League round-up: 10-man Cork City cut the gap to leaders Dundalk

Cork City have moved back to within four points of league leaders Dundalk at the top of the Airtricity League Premier Division.

John Caulfield's side have kept-up the pressure on the defending champions after a battling 1-0 win over Finn Harps tonight in Donegal.

Sean Maguire's 69th-minute goal was enough for the Leesiders to take the points, despite finishing-out the game with just ten men after Steven Beattie was red carded.

Elsewhere, Bohemians were 1-0 winners over Wexford Youths.

Kurtis Byrne's goal on the stroke of half-time was enough for the home side to take the honours at Dalymount Park.

Dundalk can restore their seven-point cushion tomorrow as they host Shamrock Rovers at Oriel Park.
