Dessie Farrell announces retirement from Gaelic football
Dublin GAA legend Dessie Farrell has announced his retirement from Gaelic football following an 18-year career.
The 34-year-old made the announcement at the launch of his autobiography - Tangled Up in Blue - in the capital last night.
Farrell helped Dublin win the All-Ireland title in 1995, as well as four Leinster crowns.
